March Newsletter 2022
I am pleased to announce that we had a decent number of members show up to our first meeting in two years. It was nice to reconnect with each other.
Our format will be a bit more social than in the past. We had an open discussion on the rising fuel prices and its effect on our business. We also talked about the importance of having a good mate/crew on trips. Our other discussions included striper regs and proposed mackerel regulations.
Any members interested in learning about outboard maintenance and repair, Whittier Vocational School in Haverhill offers an adult evening course. You receive a certificate from yamaha upon completion. Contact Whittier for schedule of upcoming courses. They are also starting a Marine tech major for high school students starting this fall.
Our next meeting will be held on Thursday April 21, at 7 pm at the Starboard Galley . Lynn Collins of southern NH drug testing will be joining us to talk about her company in Hampton NH. They provide drug testing and CG physicals. Their web site is
www.snhdrugtesting.com if you would like more info.
Member John Carey has volunteered to take over as treasurer for the association. Scott Maguire and myself will be sharing responsibilities in running the association.
Hope to see you in April
