Northeast Charterboat Captains Association Safe Summer Kickoff was a huge success.
Our captains worked with The Fishing Academy a Boston based nonprofit organization to put this day together.
The Mass.Environmental Police and the Boston Firefighting boats, helped with any safety concerns that might arise. Guest speakers talked at the cookout about healthy activities (such as fishing) and staying away from street corners. Prizes were given.
The boats gathered at the Boston Harbor Shipyard and fished from 9AM to 1PM. A barbecue with prizes was held for the kids after the fishing trip.
